“Methodology applied to junior students en Caxton College”
The teachers from the department of Spanish as a Second Language at Caxton College in Valencia, explain how to get junior students to improve their level and learn to communicate more effectively:
“The methodology used in the groups of students aged between 12 and 15 is based on activities which focus on communication. For example: role play, scrabble, alphabet bingo, while using vocabulary specific to the curriculum.
These activities help the students to reinforce grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation as well as to practise oral skills in everyday situations.
At Caxton College we are proud to say that we promote the use of new technologies in the classroom. Our resources include iPads and its applications, which junior students find appealing and the results are very successful. They are good learning tools and add fun to the lessons.”
